7 steps to use Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant for Office 365
1) Download Support and Recovery Assistant
Download the tool here. Note that you must install Recovery Assistant on the affected machine in order for it to properly diagnose and troubleshoot issues you are experiencing.
2) Assistant Launch
Once the accessory has been installed on your machine, launch it.
3) Select the application that needs troubleshooting
The application is that you select some problems from the list, and click Next. We will choose Outlook as an example.
4) Select the problem you are having
Select all the problem descriptions that match the problem you are experiencing, and click Next.
5) Work on the affected machine
Ask "Yes" when asked if this is the affected machine. Click Next to proceed.
6) Login to your Microsoft Office 365 Account
Now you should see a login page for Microsoft Office 365. Sign in with your email and password. Click Next to begin the diagnosis.
7) Let the assistant fix the problem
Once Microsoft has investigated all possible solutions to your problem, it will display a diagnostic report and summary of the work done on your device.
8) Advanced Diagnosis
If your problem was not fixed automatically, you can choose to receive an advanced diagnosis from the Support and Recovery Assistant to create a detailed report. Note that this option is currently only available for Outlook and Exchange. Read More...
